Syncopated x Ice Cream Girl Pop-Up

When: Monday, July 22nd at 5pm and 7:30pm Where: Pompette, 1960 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60647 Who doesn't love ice cream in the summer?! Syncopated is thrilled to be teaming up with Ice Cream Girl in Chicago, Illinois for the first pop-up outside of NYC with an epic celebration of vegetables and this warm weather treat, featuring a five-course, ice cream pairing menu inspired by some of Chicago's finest classic dishes and the season's best produce. Imagine a play on deep dish pizza with parmesan ice cream, esquites with corn and jalapeño ice cream and Chicago mix popcorn crunch, and the most decadent brownie sundae adorned with salted caramel ice cream and magical toppings. I have been hoping to make this collaboration happen for quite some time, and I am so grateful that it is finally working out - Sarah of Ice Cream Girl and I first met at Cornell Freshman Orientation 13 years ago, and we have each been on our own culinary journeys since graduation, with me heading in the savory direction and Sarah taking on the sweets. Once we both started our own concepts, we dreamed of one day coming together to create a truly unique and scrumptious experience, and this meal pairing ice cream and its accompaniments with every course from appetizer to dessert promises to be that and so much more!
