Springing into Summer

Event Description

When: Tuesday, May 19th at 5:30pm and 7:30pm Where: Create Kitchen & Bar, 2501 Dallas Street, Aurora, CO 80010 (Located in Stanley Marketplace) Syncopated is finally returning to Colorado for another pop-up, and I am so thrilled to be back in town next month! This May is a very special time, for my sister Morgan is retiring from Wonderbound, and she is the reason that I keep making an appearance in Denver. So to finish out her last performance with the company and send her off in style, I am preparing a celebratory meal inspired by some of our most iconic activities here, as well as her favorite ingredients and restaurants! The menu will take you on a whimsical adventure, with each dish representing an amalgamation of my moments with Morgan in the most intriguing and playful manner I could think of - I want everything to feel both recognizable and totally new at the same time, as well as extremely personal and just purely delightful. And because the weather has been unusually warm the entire year and pushing us to enter into vacation mode for so many months, we are jumping from spring right into summer with the food to help us get there even faster! I am also very grateful to be teaming up with Create Kitchen & Bar for the evening - not only is their open-kitchen concept such a fun setting so that you can see all the cooking, but they are developing a bespoke beverage menu with wine pairings and specialty cocktails just for this event; it will truly be an exclusive, one-night-only experience! To accommodate as many guests as possible, there will be two seatings, one at 5:30pm and one at 7:30pm. View the menu at the top of the page and see if you can figure out what each dish is all about! We always try to make it possible for anyone to dine at these events. Colorado has such a vibrant food scene, and it is always a pleasure to hit up as many spots as possible with Morgan. Lately, our thing has been to explore a new cuisine every time, so I am also very excited to pay homage to that wonderful variety with never-before-seen fusions of cultures throughout the courses. May cannot come soon enough - I am so looking forward to sharing this incredible evening with all of you!
